If you saw my Earth Mama Deodorant Review then you’ve probably been curious about my thoughts on the Baby Face Organic Nose and Cheek Balm.
Earth Mama generously sent it over in perfect timing! Baby girl was teething for the first time…which meant drooling and a bit of rashing on the cheeks. Meanwhile, California had been unusually hot and dry, leading to the awful slew of fires that began to burn all over our beautiful state.
During the fires it felt like every bit of moisture was whisked away. The kids were SO DRY. Our legs looked like the desert earth and both kids cheeks turned bright red with scratchy skin.
The Baby Face Balm could not have been more perfect. I would rub it on their achy little cheeks before bed and the redness would be significantly better in the morning. Some days they would stop wiggling long enough for me to apply it during the day as well. It always made a noticeable difference.

As you may have gathered through my blog, I’m a SUPER stickler for safe, natural, and pure ingredients. If it doesn’t hit all three categories (safe, natural, pure) it’s probably not making it into my home or onto my baby. I’ve never, ever had to worry about that with Earth Mama. Texture and Smell
The feel of the balm is thick, moist, and silky. It reminds me of a luxurious foot and heel balm…and I may or may not have used it that way at one point ;]
I also love that it’s unscented. I felt so much more comfortable knowing my kids wouldn’t be bothered by a scent so close to their nose!
Although I’ve never used a petroleum-based face balm to compare this to, I can’t imagine I’m missing much of anything at all. This is another huge win for Earth Mama, in my opinion!
