Hello and welcome to mama in the making, I’m Rochelle Serna and I have some really fun news to share!!
[0:11] I am so happy to announce that we are expecting baby number two! YAY!
[0:17] We are very early in our pregnancy, I’m just five weeks along, but you all have been there for me during the preparation, and the trying, and I feel extremely grateful to be able to share this entire journey with you.
So I plan to documenting each week; what’s going on, how I’m feeling, what the baby’s doing, and just, you know, kind of giving information on how the process is going so that we can all come together and share pregnancy together.
[0:50] I would love to tell you that I’m going to be able to get two videos done a week: one with regular Mama in the Making stuff, and one with pregnancy stuff, but with a toddler, and being pregnant, and two businesses, I’m not a hundred percent sure that I want to commit to that.
So I will definitely be sharing my pregnancy and I will try to get other videos up as much as I can.
[1:14] Just some quick basics about the pregnancy before we go into the “each week” thing.
We plan on having a home birth just like we did with Vincenzo, the same Midwives that were there to help deliver Vincenzo, and we will not be starting care of this time around until later into the pregnancy—about 12 weeks.
And I think we’re just, you know, we’re not planning any ultrasounds at this time we’re not planning any Doppler use at this time—as with any of these things, any of these medical practices, if they pop—if the need pops up I will be doing them. So I will be keeping you updated on that, but right now we’re just going to let my body do its thing.
[1:58] And I cannot wait to see how it differs from my first pregnancy, which you can read about if you’d like to, I can link that in the blog portion, but it was very trying on me. It tested my body in a lot of different ways and tested my mind a lot of different ways, so I’m curious to see how this one goes.
[2:15] So yes, we are very, very excited. Mid-March is when we are due, and I cannot wait to share with you.
Alright talk soon, bye!
